My Paradise
The perfect size for peace
It’s impossible to stay unnoticed for long
The birds fly through fresh air
No pollution lingers there
The sun is a warm blanket while
Winds caress weary souls; blowing worries away
Trees make lovely fences but
A rooftop can be soft solace
Everything within walking distance
No such thing as bad weather
I’ve been here before, and you know me
One place to live; life begins as some life ends
You were there when I came
I was there when you left
Don’t worry, I’ll be back to
Visit the wind, sun, and trees again
I wonder…will my life be one that begins or one that ends?
